Nikita's approach to therapy is collaborative, reflective, and non-judgmental with a foundation built on openness, curiosity, and compassion. she believes, therapy can be a transformative experience especially when clients feel heard, connected and validated.

In therapy, we begin the process of exploring, reflecting, connecting and healing to improve overall functioning and well-being. It is an honor for Nikita to guide and bear witness to her clients’ journey. Her practice is trauma-informed and provides clients with skills and resources for self-empowerment and enhancing relational resilience. Nikita's approach is holistic, using a broad range of evidence-based interventions tailored to the presenting needs of her clients.

Professional Biography

Nikita is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and has trained in EMDR therapy.

Nikita provides Psychotherapy and Counselling services for individuals, and couples. Nikita received her Honours in Psychology and then completed her Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Western Sydney University.  She is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Nikita has extensive experience as a relationship and trauma counsellor and has previously worked at Sexual Assault Support Service, Relationships Australia Tasmania and Relationships Australia Queensland. She has experience working with sexual assault survivors, family and relationship counselling, trauma counselling, LGBTQI+ counselling, employee assistance counselling and post-separation counselling. Nikita offers psycho-education programs for teachers and school social workers on request.

Nikita has trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Gottman’s Couples Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sensory Motor Psychotherapy and Schema Therapy. .
